hottest Australia, over a century ago …

Before the freaking becomes too widespread over the spate of recent wildfires, and blaming climate change, I refer them to this. Australia’s hottest month, 1896:

A small town in Western Australia, Karridale, was destroyed by fire in 1961

Dwellingup, in the Darling Ranges was destroyed by fire in the same year, along with fires destroying buildings in Pinjarra, and Margaret River. December 19th was that day of horror in 1961.

I wonder if any of the resolutions from this investigation are still under implementation today?:

I see that only the Department of Parks and Wildlife and the State Library have copies.

Today, fires that destroyed most of Yarloop are still threatening further S West towns along the Darling Range south of Perth.
